MASSES IN THE OLD SHRINE 

Monday to Friday : 11 a.m. 

A Spanish Mass will be held in the Old Shrine – Sunday at 11 a.m.

* *The sacrament of reconciliation is available 30 minutes before each Mass.

DURING LENT

In addition, from 9 March to 30 March, during Lent an additional mass will be celebrated on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4 pm, in addition to the usual 11 am mass at the Old Shrine.

The masses are in French.

  • Palm Sunday
    Saturday April 12 at 4pm and Sunday April 13 9am, 11am and 4pm, Basilica
    Palm sales at celebrations before each mass.
  • Tuesday, April 15 – Chrism Mass
    7 p.m., Trois-Rivières Cathedral
  • Thursday – April 17 – Mass in memory of the Lord’s Supper
    7:30 p.m., at the Basilica, followed by exposition of the Blessed Sacrament until 10 p.m.
  • Friday, April 18 – Way of the cross
    11 a.m., Old Shrine
    6:30 p.m., (in Spanish), in the gardens
    Great cleaning of images of the way of the cross in the gardens with the community.
  • Friday, April 18 – Celebration of the Passion of the Lord
    3 p.m., Basilica
  • Saturday, April 19 – Easter Vigil
    6:30 p.m., (in Spanish), outside the Old Shrine near the flowerbed.
    7:30 p.m., at the Basilica
  • Easter Sunday, April 20
    9 a.m. and 11 a.m., (with the Shrine Choir) and 4 p.m., Basilica
    11 a.m., Celebration (in Spanish), Old Shrine
